"Boulevard canvas"
Year: 2013
Country: Spain
Artist: Paco Rossique
Label: Etched traumas
Format: EP
Tracks: 5
Time: 28:10 minutes
Genre: Electronic, acoustic
Style: Experimental Noise

Musique Concrète is not a word strange and rare in Spain, not even in the Canary Islands. Long time ago it exist a lot of artists who makes concrète, experimental, noise, field recordings, ambient or everything not included in "conventional music". I usually don't like very much these kinds of music (notably M. Concrète), but always there are exceptions in this life and Paco Rossique results funny, awesome and something like "divertimento". It's not a extremely serious and "funeral" M. C. but something funnier. He makes music and noise with everything: wood, metal, cristal, doors, chairs, bottles, violins, guitars, spoken words, etc. etc. All his discography is avaible in bandcamp and we recommended you to listent to some disc unless this "boulevard canvas" in concret. Very different than all!!

Piedra, tambor y barro

El silencio lo preña todo;
un eco lento relame las sombras
y acompasa los requiebros del tiempo.
Inerme vigía de los pasos,
la piedra enterrada,
absorbe la soledad,
como una excusa del vacío,
para convertirla en materia.

---

The silence fills everything;
a slow echo relish the shadows
and marks the rhythm the compliments of the time.
Unarmed lookout of the steps,
the buried stone,
absorbs the solitude,
like an excuse of the empty,
to turn into it matter.

Green Cave

Llora memorias la roca
como sangre caduca.
A contratiempo una melodía
parece ahogarse,
nada más nacer,
como una batalla perdida del presente.

---

The rock cries memories
like caducous blood.
To setback a melody
seems to drown,
at all more be born,
like a stray battle of the present.

Molde ii Arena Lenta

Lenta cae la arena
sobre el compás perdido de los metales.
crepita la naturaleza,
balando,
como un cisne huyendo hacia su ocaso.

---

The sand slow falls
on the stray compass of the metals.
The nature crackles,
bleating,
like a swan escaping to his sunset.

---

The wood looks for his vital space,
expands  like a universe captured
between the forms of the man.
It seems the freedom relieves
in the minimum expression, the inert,
drawing in the space
a cry of anarchy,
or a simple whisper,
like the smoke,
breath of a dance, without steps, of the mass.

Residua de Beckett

Un oleaje de armonía
baña las costas del escritorio.
Suena a cotidianidad ordenada

---

bathes the coasts of the desk.
It sounds to ordered rutine
the wood in war, the suicided paper,
the nebula in which they lose  the words.
A workshop, any teacher,
the tools separated,
the orgasm interrupted of space in white.
